Cute book, but the overall design could be better. I bought several books to help with teaching my autistic toddler how to imitate and books like Cookie Clap work great. But this one, not as much. I feel like the character movements they are trying to show don't really work.
Normally my child would rip pop up books to make them interactive. Problem solved with Cake Please.
Granddaughter loves Cake, Ppease! We read it and make cakes . It is her favorite book!

I now own 3 of these books for my grandkids. Each one is fun, engaging, well illustrated and sturdy for the littlest readers!! I will likely buy more in the future both for additions to our library and as gifts.
