I bought this for a granddaughter who is months away from arriving, but I didn't want to let such a unique book get away! I can picture her and her mother reading it someday while baking, letting the little girl mimic what they're doing. A love for literacy starts here! The book is beautifully made.

This book was so disappointing. Nothing about it moves or is interactive until you get to the last page, when loose cardboard apples clump together inaccessibly at the bottom of the page but won’t come out the too-small slit at the base. I bought this for my grandson, but it’s so boring I’m not even going to bother to give it to him. A complete waste if money.
Cake, Please is the book I needed as a child! It's so cute and clever and very well made, which is great since we never read it just once. Its our new favorite. My grandson loves the interactive features, especially cracking the eggs!
